The Center for Neighborhood Technology (CNT) is a non-profit think tank located in Chicago, operating in a wide variety of discplines such as energy, transportation, and climate change, and community development. These manuals and signs were created as part of my summer 2009 internship at CNT. Manuals -- for the maintenance of community rain gardens, green walls, and rain barrels -- were previously delivered to clients as 8.5x11 booklets that were easily lost. We took a different approach by designing three 11x11 laminated poster designs to be hung on walls. One had checkmarks to promote consistent interaction. The second design project was a set of outdoor signs to educate passersby about green infrastructure installations done by CNT.
